We are looking for a builder and strong cross-functional leader who can identify opportunities, connect the right people, create alignment, and move ideas from concept through execution. The successful candidate will bring a combination of commercial awareness, analytical capability, operational understanding, and execution discipline, along with experience applying structured program and project management practices (PMI discipline) and a strong process-oriented mindset. Experience may come from air cargo or airline operations, freight forwarding, integrated logistics, transportation network planning, carrier or vendor management, product or service development, supply chain strategy, continuous improvement, or program/project leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Network Strategy & Product Development
  • Evaluate opportunities for new services, destinations, partnerships, and network enhancements, considering demand, capacity, cost, risk, and operational feasibility.
  • Develop decision-ready business cases that support air freight growth, network expansion, service innovation, and investment decisions.
  • Support the development and expansion of Air Freight, Express Courier, and Specialized Handling Solutions (SHS), translating commercial opportunities into scalable and executable service offerings.
Carrier Performance & Network Optimization
  • Establish and manage performance frameworks across air carriers and strategic partners, with a focus on service, cost, reliability, capacity, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead structured carrier reviews, KPI management, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and accountability processes.
  • Support contract strategy and vendor performance management while improving visibility and performance across the broader air network.
Planning, Analytics & Decision Support

  • Replace manual and ad hoc processes with structured, repeatable methodologies that improve visibility, consistency, and decision-making.
Strategic Initiatives & Cross-Functional Execution
  • Lead strategic initiatives from concept through implementation using structured program/project management disciplines (PMI), including clear scope, milestones, ownership, risk management, governance, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Build alignment across Operations, Commercial, Product, IT, Finance, and external partners, influencing stakeholders and helping teams navigate barriers to maintain momentum.
  • Support organizational priorities that advance network growth, product development, automation, and operational excellence.
Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement
  • Apply structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies to improve efficiency, scalability, service outcomes, and productivity.
  • Develop governance routines, reporting frameworks, and operational standards that strengthen accountability and execution.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and standardize processes, reducing dependency on manual workarounds and supporting sustainable improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in air cargo, airline/aviation operations, freight forwarding, integrated logistics, transportation network planning, carrier management/procurement, product or service development, supply chain strategy, continuous improvement, or program/project management.
  • Strong analytical and business problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable recommendations and sound business decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience developing business cases and presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrix environment and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with demonstrated experience applying structured program/project management practices (PMI discipline) and a process-oriented mindset focused on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to connect commercial opportunities with operational realities and drive initiatives through to measurable outcomes.
