What You Will Do
  • Interpret and clarify technical data so that mechanics can confidently execute engine and module work scopes.
  • Resolve production issues by investigating process breakdowns, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions that restore process control.
  • Define repair workscope that are clear, concise, cost-effective, and aligned with customer, safety, and technical requirements.
  • Approve and update work control documents to ensure engine/module hardware is maintained and configured correctly.
  • Guide mechanics and inspectors by verifying proper hardware configuration and providing timely technical direction during build activities.
  • Develop and use standard work and desktop procedures that strengthen process consistency across HMC operations.
  • Support mechanic training by communicating new technical data and changes to work instructions.
  • Assist other production lines when required to ensure on-time delivery across the repair, and overhaul (MRO) enterprise.
  • Champion Environmental, Health & Safety best practices so that all work is performed in a safe, compliant, and risk-controlled environment.
What You Will Learn

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline from an accredited institution required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints required.
  • At least 1 year of experience of writing clear, concise technical work instructions while communicating effectively and collaborating across cross-functional teams with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to work 1st shift (0700-1600) with overtime or weekend support as needed.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Advanced degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working in a maintenance, MRO engine facility.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with gas-turbine engine hardware, repair processes, or module configuration.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
