#J-18808-LjbffrUnited Holdings Oklahoma City is Now Hiring a Manufacturing Supplier Quality Control Engineer located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127 or 10750 Telge Rd. Houston, TX 77095. Looking for a candidate in either location, this is an on-site role.
Ensure supplier quality compliance for all sourced materials and components. Develops, coordinates, and supports supplier quality assurance programs. Works closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve fabrication quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
Responsibilities- Lead supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Develop and implement supplier quality metrics and reporting.
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering to resolve supplier-related quality issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions for delivery, cost, and quality improvements.
- Recommend new or revised supplier quality procedures.
- Support efforts to reduce non-conformances and improve product reliability.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- 5-7 years related experience. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work under time constraints.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with supplier audits and root cause analysis.
