Job description

Overview

United Holdings Oklahoma City is Now Hiring a Manufacturing Supplier Quality Control Engineer located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127 or 10750 Telge Rd. Houston, TX 77095. Looking for a candidate in either location, this is an on-site role.

Ensure supplier quality compliance for all sourced materials and components. Develops, coordinates, and supports supplier quality assurance programs. Works closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve fabrication quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and implement supplier quality metrics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with procurement and engineering to resolve supplier-related quality issues.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions for delivery, cost, and quality improvements.
  • Recommend new or revised supplier quality procedures.
  • Support efforts to reduce non-conformances and improve product reliability.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years related experience. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work under time constraints.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with supplier audits and root cause analysis.

  • Expertise in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 standards
  • Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans
  • Advanced statistical analysis and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Skilled in supplier audits, risk management, and CAPA
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and inspection tools
  • Proficient in ERP/QMS software and data analytics tools
  • Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across teams
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Ability to mentor, train, and lead cross-functional projects

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent preferred.

 

 OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to maintain current and thorough knowledge of all applicable processes and equipment is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS      

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling, climbing, crawling, squatting, kneeling, and bending.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs. frequently; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear PPE as required.

OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the position, location, and/or customer
