Job description

Under the supervision of the Materials Management Supervisor, the incumbent prioritizes and processes Warehouse work/trip requests, warehouse requisitions, and operates none CDL  Vehicles. High school diploma or GED as well as 6 months to 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Valid Class D -driver’s license required with a valid medical card.

Must be able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, reach lifts and other equipment used in Warehouse operations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, compute ratio, rate and percent. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form.

May occasionally be required to type and operate basic computer software applications. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move and/or lift up to 100 pounds.
