Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Resident CT Technologist, you will embark on a structured, hands-on learning experience designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in all aspects of computed tomography (CT).
Every day, you will engage in concurrent work experience and training for graduates of accredited Radiologic Technology programs, culminating in competency upon program completion and managed by the Diagnostic Imaging Clinical Education Coordinator. You will learn to utilize CT scanners to produce cross-section images for medical diagnosis in compliance with safety procedures, interpreting instructions, administering contrast, operating equipment, and positioning patients. Your work also includes maneuvering equipment/patients, providing basic patient care, submitting accurate documentation, and supporting patient/employee satisfaction initiatives.
To be successful in this temporary position, you will possess graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, coupled with a strong desire to specialize in CT. You will demonstrate exceptional aptitude for learning technical skills, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care and safety.

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
  • Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
  • Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
  • Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.

$25,000 Sign on bonus and up to $24,000 in educational assistance for eligible hires!
