Summary
 
The Manufacturing Associate / Biotechnologist Associate is responsible for producing therapeutic proteins (API) in a cGMP-regulated environment. The role involves executing manufacturing processes, maintaining equipment and facilities, following strict documentation practices, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards while working in a cleanroom setting.
 
Responsibilities
  • Execute manufacturing processes and follow SOPs
  • Operate, set up, and monitor production equipment
  • Perform CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Steam-in-Place) operations
  • Conduct basic lab tasks (pH, conductivity, sampling)
  • Maintain accurate documentation as per GMP & GDP standards
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of facility and equipment
  • Handle material movement and transfer of raw materials/chemicals
  • Demonstrate aseptic techniques while handling products
  • Participate in training and maintain qualification for assigned tasks
  • Support 6S and facility upkeep initiatives
  • Work in cleanroom environments with proper gowning
  • Attend shift handovers, meetings, and complete administrative tasks
  • Contribute to projects and perform additional assigned duties.
Required Skills
  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in a science-related field is highly desired
  • Experience in cleanroom, laboratory, or sterile environments
  • Experience with aseptic techniques and gowning procedures
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably in a cGMP setting
  • Exposure to Cell and Gene Therapy industry
  • Ability to follow SOPs and documentation procedures in regulated environments
  • Understanding of cGMP and GDP practices
  • Basic laboratory skills (pH, sampling, conductivity, etc.)
  • Aseptic handling and cleanroom practices
  • Equipment operation and process monitoring
  • Critical thinking and decision-making ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
