Description
Skowhegan Savings Bank seeks an individual to join our team as Treasury Management Associate. This is a full-time position (37.5-40 hours per week).
We are looking to hire between $21.40 to $25.25 per hour. This position has growth potential up to 29.05 per hour
Position Summary:
Treasury Management Associates provide sales and support for treasury products and services. Reporting to the VP, Treasury Management Operations Manager, this role involves working closely with the bank's business customers to understand their financial needs and help them manage their deposits effectively and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Delivers exceptional support to treasury management customers, consistently demonstrating Integrity Customer Service principles.
  • Provides comprehensive service to treasury customers, including but not limited to ACH origination, outgoing wire processing, multiple logon usage, standard online banking and merchant services, positive pay, remote deposit capture products, business visits and consultations, proposal preparation, software contracts and agreements, on-site business training, on-going customer support and monthly reporting and statement reviews.
  • Assist with on-boarding new customers and strengthens existing relationships with current business customers by cross-selling treasury products and services.
  • Processes treasury transactions and account maintenance accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring adherence to internal controls and established procedures.
  • Build strong customer loyalty by developing relationships and consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Responds promptly to customer inquiries and concerns, researching and identifying positive solutions or referring to appropriate staff or department for resolution.
  • Open deposit accounts for business customers as needed.
  • Serve as primary account opener for business green customers.
  • Support the annual relationship review process for select business customers.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety and security issues, policies and procedures.
  • Participates in training sessions and workshops to advance product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Provides guidance and support for complex consumer digital banking relationships.
  • Serve as emergency backup support for Call Center, assisting with call queue and customer inquiries.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
  • Two to three years of customer support experience
  • Prior experience in treasury/cash management support and sales preferred

Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent sales and relationship management skills
  • Experience providing customer support and outstanding customer service
  • Excellent professional communication and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and treasury management software
  • Must be dependable, professional and calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong understanding of business cash management products & services
  • Strong analytical and problem solving

Working Conditions:
  • General office environment
  • Some travel required to provide sales and support to business customers
  • Moderate lifting (to 35 lbs.) required. Moderate reaching, walking, sitting and standing required.
