Now is the time to bring your expertise to Insight. We are not just a tech company; we are a people-first company. We believe that by unlocking the power of people and technology, we can accelerate transformation and achieve extraordinary results. As a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator with deep expertise in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge, we guide organizations through complex digital decisions.

About the role

Are you a proven cybersecurity services seller with deep expertise in Zero Trust, cloud security, managed detection and response (MDR), security operations, managed security services (MSS), or enterprise security transformation? Do you have experience guiding enterprise clients through complex security decisions, helping them architect, implement, manage, and secure their critical infrastructure? Are you looking for a remote career opportunity that rewards top performers?

Now is the time to bring your cybersecurity expertise to a consulting sales role for a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator where success and fulfillment go hand in hand. You will be at the forefront of helping enterprises transform their security posture, strengthen their resilience, achieve compliance objectives, and optimize their security operations in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

The Opportunity
As a Market Development Executive with Insight, you will be the catalyst for identifying new cybersecurity and security services opportunities within our existing enterprise client base. We will count on you to introduce customized security consulting, implementation, managed services, and managed security services solutions to large enterprise clients across a spectrum of industries. You will manage the sales process from the initial security assessment, through solution design, to the final close. Along the way, you will leverage Insight's unique services expertise to provide everything our clients need to progress in one place: a creative vision, executional capabilities, and ongoing solutions management.
Previous enterprise cybersecurity sales experience is required; however, we will consider cloud security, infrastructure security, and application security experience as added benefits.

Qualifications and Responsibilities
We're seeking experienced technical and sales executives with a track record of strategizing & operationalizing cybersecurity and managed security services solutions to solve critical business problems. You should also have a bachelor's degree in business, IT, cybersecurity, or a related field and experience driving enterprise security sales.

Significant Cybersecurity & Managed Security Services Sales Experience
You are known as a trusted advisor to clients in how to deploy enterprise security solutions and have extensive experience in cybersecurity consulting services and managed security services: Zero Trust architecture, managed detection and response (MDR), security operations center (SOC) design and implementation, managed security services (MSS) operations and optimization, cloud security, application security, threat and vulnerability management, and/or security compliance and governance. Your track record in 'hunting' and 'farming' accounts, including new areas of an existing client with cybersecurity consulting and managed security services, will distinguish you as a meaningful addition to the account team. Your skills in multi-stakeholder engagement (CISO, CIO, Security Architects, Board-level executives), channel selling, and formal opportunity/account management methods will help you build a deep and varied set of opportunities. Your proven experience to forge new security vendor partnerships and your ability to quickly build trust with security vendor counterparties will establish new and consistent pipeline opportunities.

Managed Security Services Expertise
You bring hands-on knowledge of managed security services delivery models, including 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and security operations optimization. You understand the operational and financial benefits of MSS to enterprise clients, including cost predictability, access to specialized talent, and improved security posture. You can articulate the value of transitioning from reactive security to proactive, managed security operations, and you have experience positioning MSS alongside traditional consulting and implementation services to create comprehensive security transformation programs.

Client Engagement Skills
You share our goal to make meaningful connections each day that positively impact the lives of the people we serve, including our clients, partners, and teammates. You build strong customer relationships with executive-level decision-makers (CISOs, CIOs, security leaders) around their security posture and operational efficiency, providing trusted advisory services to assist them in achieving their security transformation, compliance objectives, and security operations excellence.

Deep Technical Expertise
Your success in this role depends on your ability to help C-Suite & security leaders understand where their security posture sits within their broader IT and cloud infrastructure, and how managed security services can enhance their operational capabilities. Your knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, managed security services delivery, threat landscapes, and compliance requirements allows you to roadmap ideas and turn security challenges into transformation opportunities. Five years minimum of current and proven end-to-end security solutions sales experience. Preferred candidates will have five years minimum of enterprise cybersecurity services sales experience with numerous case study examples of leading complex security transformation deals, including managed security services implementations.

Growth Mindset
Your experience leading large security transformation initiatives as a security principal or consulting services specialist gives you an eye for whitespace within existing accounts. You see new opportunities for specialty security solutions, managed services, and operational improvements; execute technical account growth strategy in partnership with services delivery; and drive efficiency through automation and analytics. You embody our values: Hunger, Heart, and Harmony.
