This role primarily operates in a remote work setting, enabling flexibility while maintaining high-quality therapeutic engagement. Our outpatient office provides a structured yet supportive atmosphere, where mental health professionals can collaborate effectively. You will work closely with various healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, care managers, and nurses, to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Conduct in-depth patient assessments to identify mental health needs and formulate individualized treatment plans based on those findings.
• Deliver mental health counseling sessions primarily focused on children and adolescents, designing interventions tailored to developmental stages.
• Support clients facing PTSD and trauma-related issues through targeted therapeutic techniques, reinforcing coping strategies and resilience.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant medical records, adhering to legal requirements and ethical standards to ensure confidentiality and integrity.
• Implement behavior management strategies that assist clients in effectively navigating their mental health challenges and promoting positive outcomes.
• Engage in clinical research projects to assess and refine treatment methodologies, contributing to the body of knowledge in mental health care.
• Utilize telehealth technology to extend our services to clients, ensuring their accessibility and comfort in receiving care from home.
• Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams, participating in case discussions and contributing insights to enhance overall client support.

This role centers around a diverse patient population, with a particular focus on children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health issues. Our clients may present with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychiatric disorders. You will be instrumental in shaping their treatment journey, fostering therapeutic relationships that empower them to navigate their challenges effectively.

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) licensure in New York state.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices, with expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness techniques.
• Demonstrated skills in patient assessment and behavior management, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.

• Experience providing telehealth services is highly preferred, highlighting adaptability to remote therapeutic interactions.
• A background or familiarity with clinical research can enhance our ability to innovate and improve treatment approaches.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or therapeutic setting is beneficial.

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package includes:
