Schedule / Job Type
Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week | Onsite | Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities
  • Produce diagnostic mammograms under the supervision of department management
  • Assist radiologists and referring physicians with mammographic procedures
  • Operate mammographic equipment with a high degree of technical proficiency
  • Provide age-appropriate patient care for adult and geriatric populations, addressing physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety needs
  • Utilize hospital and department computer systems in support of imaging workflows
  • Float to other areas within the organization as needed, up to competency level
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience
  • Active ARRT certification in Mammography (must be obtained prior to start date)
  • Active Nevada State Radiology License (must be obtained prior to start date)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced imaging environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a high-volume outpatient or hospital-based imaging setting
  • Familiarity with breast health imaging protocols and breast center operations
