Mallory Safety and Supply is currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service Team!

As a Customer Service Representative, Here is How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Learn, navigate, and use Prophet 21 to provide customer service
  • Service both internal and external customers over the phone, via email, and in person
  • Resolve issues with customer orders in a tactful manner
  • Partner with the branch sales team to drive business
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects as needed
  • Cross-train and assist in other areas of the branch as needed

Here is What We Need From a Customer Service Representative:

Required Skills and Abilities -

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Strong computer and data entry skills highly desired, including Microsoft Office

Education and Experience -

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service - in an office setting preferred
  • A combination of face to face, remote and phone/email customer service experience required
  • Business to business (B2b) customer service experience preferred
  • Construction, safety, or industrial supply experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements -

  • Using a computerscreen for several hours a day
  • Occasional bending, twisting, standing, and stooping
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion
