Opportunity Overview:
At POP MART, we believe art has the power to inspire joy, spark imagination, and bring people together. As a Sales Lead, you'll play a key leadership role in creating exceptional customer experiences while supporting the daily operations of the store. As a trusted leader on the sales floor, you'll inspire your team, ensure operational excellence, and help bring the POP MART brand to life for every customer.
You'll serve as the Leader on Duty when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable, providing direction to the team, driving sales performance, and ensuring our stores consistently deliver the premium experience our collectors expect. From coaching associates and supporting visual merchandising to inventory management and new product launches, you'll help create an engaging environment where customers can discover the excitement of POP MART.
This position reports directly to the Store Manager.

What you will achieve:
Leadership & Customer Experience
  • Lead by example to deliver an exceptional customer experience and inspire a customer-first culture.
  • Serve as the Leader on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Coach, motivate, and support Sales Associates to achieve individual and store performance goals.
  • Build meaningful relationships with customers by sharing the stories behind POP MART's artists, characters, Blind Boxes, MEGA Collections, and exclusive collaborations.
  • Foster an energetic, inclusive, and engaging environment for customers and team members alike.

Sales & Business Performance
  • Help achieve and exceed store sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, conversion, units per transaction (UPT), average transaction value (ATV), and customer engagement.
  • Promote key product categories, limited-edition releases, and exclusive collections through knowledgeable product recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve store performance and communicate operational needs or business opportunities to store leadership.

Store Operations
  • Execute opening and closing procedures while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and visually compelling store environment.
  • Accurately process customer transactions, returns, exchanges, and other POS activities.
  • Support shipment processing, replenishment, stockroom organization, inventory accuracy, and cycle counts.
  • Help protect company assets by following cash handling, safety, and loss prevention procedures.

Visual Merchandising & Inventory
(Responsibilities may vary based on store volume and business needs.)
  • Execute POP MART visual merchandising standards, marketing directives, and promotional displays.
  • Install new fixtures, marketing materials, decals, and planograms for product launches and seasonal campaigns.
  • Refresh merchandising based on inventory levels, product sell-through, and business priorities.
  • Support inventory audits, receiving, transfers, replenishment, and back-of-house organization.
  • Partner with store leadership to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure merchandise is available for customers.

Brand & Community
  • Serve as a knowledgeable brand ambassador by staying current on POP MART products, artists, characters, and company initiatives.
  • Support in-store events, collector experiences, pop-up activations, conventions, new store openings, and other brand initiatives.
  • Support Robo Shop operations and partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience where applicable.
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other peak business periods.

What you will need:
  • 1+ years of retail experience; previous leadership, keyholder, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading by example.
  • Interest in designer toys, collectibles, art, anime, gaming, fashion, or pop culture is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate others while fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable making decisions and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret business metrics and use data to improve store performance.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) proficiency.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders or step stools to stock and retrieve merchandise.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, carry, push, or move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range Details
The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.50 per hour. This range is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws and may vary based on geographic location. Individual compensation will be determined based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
