Job description

*Hiring Bonus! We’re so looking forward to working with you that we’re offering up to a $1,000 hiring bonus for full time Medical Assistants.

Are you a seasoned Certified MA who is looking for the right position where you can grow and develop your skills with an awesome team? If so, we are looking for you - come join us! (Will consider a non-certified MA with at least 3-5 years primary care experience)
Office location: HVMG Rheumatology - Monaca/Center HV Medical Neighborhood (behind Beaver Valley Mall).
Work hours: Currently 4-10 hour shifts - Monday through Thursday, 7:30 - 6pm. NO weekends or holidays.

Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by physician in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals and scheduling appointments.

Requirements  

High School graduate or equivalent. Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, or NCCT NCMA), CPR Certification, proficient in venipuncture, Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred 

Medical Assistant diploma or degree program. Minimum of one year medical assisting experience. Computer experience.
