As a Security Officer Patrol Service in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $21.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail center, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points, entrances, and high-traffic areas; assist with directing visitors and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrols accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
