MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Crabtree Valley Mall
The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
โ€ข Minimum of 18 years of age.
โ€ข Clear a criminal background check.
โ€ข High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED)
Skills/Abilities:
โ€ข Strong customer service orientation, exemplifying our Mission Statement that Customer Service is Every Employee's Job.
โ€ข Ability to facilitate progressive change, getting along with other employees, following directions and continually improving.
โ€ข Clear and effective oral and written communications skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.
Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers. Pushing/pulling/carrying lifting may include up to 25 lbs (event evacuation), stair climbing. Ability to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties within the facility. Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.

Education & Age
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  • Minimum age: 21 years

Experience
  • Minimum 2 years in the security industry, with 1 year in a supervisory role (preferred)
  • Experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems, and access control systems is required
  • Must be willing to perform the duties of a Security Officer in addition to supervisory responsibilities

Licenses & Certifications
  • State Guard License required
  • Must meet and maintain all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

Skills & Abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with clients across diverse cultures
  • Organizational skills and ability to track and maintain schedule assignments
