These unions may offer resources, advocacy, networking opportunities, and collaborative projects for makers. The goal is to support the interests of creators, promote fair labor practices, and foster a community where skills and knowledge are shared. Within a Makers Union, collaboration is often at the heart of daily operations. New members can expect to work closely with a diverse group of professionals, including artisans, engineers, designers, and community organizers, on both individual and group projects. Regular meetings, brainstorming sessions, and skill-sharing workshops are common, fostering an environment where ideas and expertise are freely exchanged. This collaborative structure helps members learn from each other, tackle complex challenges together, and contribute to shared goals, making teamwork an integral part of the Makers Union experience.
