Experienced RV Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced RV Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of recreational vehicle systems and components. Your expertise will ensure our customers’ RVs are safe, reliable, and ready for their next adventure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics on RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and engine components using automotive diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs with precision and efficiency.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting to complete repairs effectively.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical systems and automotive electrical components to identify issues accurately.
  • Repair or replace major mechanical parts including diesel engines, transmissions, axles, shocks & struts, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform vehicle assembly or disassembly tasks for repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all repair procedures and communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle’s condition and recommended services.

Skills

Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive or RV repair environments.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair; experience with automotive electrical wiring is essential.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
