Job description

What We Need
Corpay is currently seeking a Key Account Manager within our NA Fuel division. This role serves as the primary client services contact for an assigned customer portfolio and is responsible for supporting customer satisfaction, retention, service resolution, and ongoing account health.
The Key Account Manager builds strong customer relationships by resolving day-to-day account needs, communicating clearly, coordinating with internal partners, and helping customers understand the value of Corpay products and services. This role is well suited for a customer-service focused professional who may have some account management experience and has a strong passion for resolving customer issues, owning follow-through, and growing within account management.
This role is office-based in Brentwood, TN. Corpay provides:

Role Responsibilities
As a Key Account Manager, you will:
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, providing day-to-day support, problem resolution, research, and follow-through
  • Respond to inbound customer emails and phone calls in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner
  • Conduct customer calls and presentations to review account needs, provide training, explain available tools, and reinforce product value
  • Support retention of the assigned customer base through consistent outreach, service ownership, and thoughtful follow-up
  • Identify opportunities to position additional Corpay products, services, or solutions that may benefit the customer and support account growth
  • Prepare and present proactive recommendations that improve customer satisfaction, strengthen relationships, and protect revenue

Strategic Account Oversight
  • Understand customer needs, account setup, program expectations, service trends, and potential risks within the assigned portfolio
  • Manage weekly priorities across customer outreach, inbound requests, internal follow-up, and SLA commitments
  • Monitor customer feedback, account activity, and service issues to identify improvement areas and potential growth opportunities
  • Use sound judgment to recommend next steps, escalate appropriately, and support customer setup, servicing needs, or concession requests

Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot servicing issues raised by customers to determine root cause, clarify next steps, and communicate progress through resolution
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer needs, advocate for timely follow-up, and support a positive customer experience

Operational Excellence & Leadership
  • Maintain organized work habits and time-management routines to handle multiple priorities while meeting service standards
  • Communicate with professionalism, empathy, urgency, and accuracy in customer-facing and internal interactions
  • Support process improvements, team initiatives, and effective use of available tools and systems
  • Demonstrate ownership, curiosity, and a passion for customer service while continuing to grow professionally

Qualifications & Skills
Education, Experience, and Technical Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of call center, customer service, account support, client services, or related customer-facing experience
  • Prior account management, relationship management, or business-to-business customer support experience preferred
  • Experience managing a customer base, handling multiple customer needs, or coordinating issue resolution across departments preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use CRM, reporting, and workflow tools effectively
  • Salesforce knowledge is a plus
