As a Maintenance Technician, the ideal candidate is skilled in looking at a property and noticing what tasks need to be completed and can prioritize them accordingly. The position requires Monday - Friday work from 7:00AM to 3:30PM. Weekend work could be required in the event of an emergency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, advanced carpentry, construction, HVAC, welding, is a bonus.
  • Ability to approach mechanical challenges from a logical perspective.
  • Make repairs as assigned while working efficiently with strong attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and property.
  • Always maintain all equipment in top condition. Ensure that safety standards are met
  • Ability to follow and/or set preventive maintenance schedules, to prolong the equipment's life.
  • Consistently assess work areas for safety concerns. Raise all concerns to the appropriate individual and follow-up to ensure that all are resolved.
  • Skilled in the proper and safe use of all tools, materials, chemicals, and products relating to the department.
  • Strong verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to utilize these skills to maintain positive relations with Team Members and Guests.
  • Some computer work is required.
  • Additional job training is provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces.
  • Working inside as well as outdoors in all weather conditions. Aspects of position will require working in extreme temperatures and varying weather elements.
  • Willingness to learn and properly complete a task.
  • Working in small, confined areas may be required.
  • Physical activities include walking, talking, seeing, hearing, reaching, holding, grasping, feeling, stooping, bending, crawling, stretching, lifting, and kneeling.
