Job description

We are looking to employ a maintenance supervisor with an outstanding knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance. A maintenance supervisor is expected to have fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will display natural leadership and possess fantastic communication skills with a great eye for detail.
The ideal maintenance supervisor responsibilities will include: 
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing all leaks, plumbing, electrical and mechanical issues that arise.
  • Resourceful but keep a well-stocked and very organized maintenance shop.
  • Upbeat and can-do positive attitude with the ability to build and lead a small team.
  • Prioritize, organize, complete and assign work orders to team and self.
  • Must have a vehicle and all tools necessary to complete work.
  • Provide training to coworkers and lead by example.
  • Work well and consult regularly with Property and Regional managers on issues that occur.

Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree (highly advantageous).
  • 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Effective budgeting and performance management.
