Maintenance Director / Environmental Services Director

Charter Senior Living of Verona โ€“ Verona, WI
Pay: $28โ€“$30/hr

Now Hiring: Maintenance Director

Weโ€™re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Director who can take full ownership of building operations, preventative maintenance, and safety across our senior living community.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, mechanically skilled, and comfortable leading by exampleโ€”not just delegating.

What Youโ€™ll Own
  • Oversee all building maintenance operations (apartments, common areas, grounds)

  • Perform and manage preventative maintenance programs

  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

  • Ensure compliance with life safety standards and state regulations

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for residents and staff

  • Coordinate and manage vendors and service contracts

  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner

  • Assist with resident move-ins, room turns, and building readiness

  • Drive community vehicle/van as needed

  • Partner with leadership to support overall community operations

What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Previous maintenance leadership or lead technician experience

  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs

  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, hotels, or multi-unit housing preferred

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Reliable, responsive, and solutions-focused

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Valid driverโ€™s license (required)

Pay & Schedule
  • $24โ€“$27/hr
