Essential Job Functions:
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor in the scheduling and completion of preventative maintenance activities and assist in updating records of those activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service in fixing all customer requests for maintenance support. This includes timely and responsive resolution to issues.
  • Complete maintenance service requests involving drywall, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as scheduled, responds to emergency service requests (after-hour emergency calls) and property disasters (fires, floods, freezes, etc.).
  • Complete all maintenance work orders within assigned timeframe and make most apartments ready within five (5) business days of vacancy.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and replacing HVAC equipment (furnaces and condensers).
  • Troubleshoot and repair appliances (Dishwasher, stove, washer/dryer, microwave, etc.)

Qualifications:
  • Technical school, High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in maintenance or equivalent field.
  • Must be EPA certified. Possess your own basic tools to perform building maintenance.
  • Valid drivers license preferred. Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
  • Must be willing to work on an on-call rotation.
