Job description

As Manager of Maintenance Planning and Master Data you'll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives. It offers one of the most exciting, fast paced, challenging and rewarding work environments in the world of operations, supply chain and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Program Oversight: Provide leadership, governance, and administrative oversight for the site maintenance planning program, ensuring maintenance processes are standardized, effective, and aligned with business, regulatory, and operational requirements.

  • SAP/CMMS Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the site SME for SAP and/or CMMS, including work order workflows, preventive maintenance setup, master data quality, asset hierarchy, task list management, reporting, scheduling support, and user guidance.

  • Planning and Scheduling Leadership: Supervise maintenance planning and scheduling practices to ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work is properly prioritized, scoped, planned, resourced, scheduled, and documented.

  • Work Management Governance: Ensure work orders are created, reviewed, planned, approved, accomplished, and closed in accordance with site procedures, data integrity expectations, and GMP documentation standards.

  • Metrics and KPI Management: Develop, maintain, and report key maintenance metrics and KPIs such as schedule compliance, PM completion, planned vs. unplanned work, backlog health, wrench time, work order aging, emergency work levels, and asset performance indicators.

  • Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Analyze maintenance and equipment performance trends to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Recommend actions that improve reliability, planning quality, schedule adherence, and maintenance effectiveness.

  • MRO Program Oversight: Provide administrative guidance and oversight for the MRO program, including spare parts strategy, inventory alignment, critical spares identification, storeroom coordination, material planning support, and optimization of maintenance-material workflows.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Validation teams to align maintenance strategies, improve execution, and support production needs.

  • Compliance and GMP Support: Ensure maintenance planning and documentation practices meet GMP, data integrity, procedural, and audit-readiness requirements. Support investigations, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and regulatory inspections as applicable.

  • Standardization and Training: Develop, maintain, and improve maintenance procedures, planning standards, CMMS/SAP work instructions, and user training materials. Coach users and collaborators on procedures for system use and maintenance workflow compliance.

  • Vendor and Service Coordination: Support oversight of external service providers and contractors related to maintenance planning, execution support, and materials coordination, ensuring alignment with site procedures and compliance expectations.

Essential Requirements:
  • High School Diploma.

  • Minimum seven (7) years industrial maintenance experience in a GMP facility to include both facility and process related equipment and its controls or an equivalent.

  • SAP/CMMS System Expertise

  • At least 1 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of cGMP standards, in particular manufacturing, laboratory and requirements for computer systems (GAMP) and data integrity.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $101,643.20-$152,464.80. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives-an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
