With a focus on innovation, quality assurance, and environmental responsibility, we have established ourselves as a key player in the frozen food industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Mechanic.

What We're Looking For:

We are currently hiring a full-time Maintenance Mechanic. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing equipment, maintaining facility repairs, and perform PM tasks while adhering to Safety guidelines.

Description of Primary Duties for Open Position:

1. Support maintenance technicians in diagnosing and repairing equipment and building repairs not limited to roofing, wall repair, siding, window repair or replacement.

2. Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment operates efficiently.

3. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks and using tools, including but not limited to Food Safety Guidelines.

4. Assist in conducting inspections of machinery (repack & processing equipment) and systems to identify issues or maintenance needs.

5. Move, assemble, install, or dismantle machinery.

6. Help maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

7. Assist in organizing and maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.

8. Engage in training programs to learn about maintenance practices, safety procedures, and relevant technologies.

9. Developing a mindset of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

10. Encouraging employee engagement and collaboration.

a. Understand the core principles of Lean.

b. Identify and eliminate waste in processes.

c. Implement continuous improvement practices.

d. Foster a culture of efficiency and accountability.

11. Work alongside experienced maintenance staff to gain knowledge and skills while contributing to team efforts.

12. Operate forklift, scissor lift, and yard lift.

13. Calibration, fabrication, and welding (ARC, TIG, MIG) of various stands and platforms, handrails, steps/stairs, conveyers, and drivers.

14. General housekeeping ensuring area is thoroughly cleaned upon maintenance completion.

15. Inspect and troubleshoot all equipment and determine proper course of action.

16. Participate in lean events & practices.

17. Learning how to operate bean room equipment & setup/teardown.

18. Other duties as assigned.
