Summary:
Responsible for the maintenance of commercial landscapes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
Commercial or Residential landscape experience preferred, but not required
License or Certification
Valid Driver's License issued from state of employment, preferred but not required.
Specialized Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
  • Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service
  • Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Ensure Maintain job site as instructed by Foreman. Possible duties include, but are not limited to mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning
  • Safe operation of equipment, including : 21" and 36" mowers; power hedge shears; power shears; backpack blower; aerator
  • Basic understanding of Plant ID
  • Basic hand pruning skills
  • Basic skill in shearing shrubs and hedges
  • Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance's with Monarch Safety Policy
  • Abide by Monarch code of conduct at all times
  • Shows up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures
