At Emerald Seas Beach Club, we are dedicated to providing owners and guests with high-quality, hassle-free vacations. Join our Maintenance Team and contribute to our mission of enhancing owner and guest experiences.
Position Summary:
As a Groundskeeper/Maintenance Tech you will ensure the property's safety, cleanliness, and functional upkeep. This role balances exterior landscaping and grounds control with interior building repairs and preventative maintenance.

  • Compensation: $30.00 per hour

Core Responsibilities
Groundskeeping & Landscaping
  • Perform routine lawn care, including mowing, edging, trimming hedges, and weeding.
  • Sweep or power-wash walkways, parking lots, and breezeways to maintain cleanliness.
  • Empty outdoor trash receptacles and remove litter from the property.
  • Monitor and repair irrigation or sprinkler systems as needed.

Building Maintenance & Repairs
  • Assist with minor repairs, including drywall patching and painting.
  • Replace light bulbs, air filters, and door locks.
  • Address minor plumbing issues such as clogged drains and leaky faucets.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections of building facilities and amenities, including pools, gates, and fences.
  • Respond promptly to routine work orders and maintenance requests.

Equipment & Safety
  • Properly operate, clean, and store power tools and groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
  • Comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines regarding the handling of fertilizers, cleaning agents, and other chemical substances.

Job Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in groundskeeping, building maintenance, or a related trade.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools and general repair techniques.
