Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate- $24-$40/hour

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role performs preventive maintenance, responds to equipment breakdowns, and supports continuous improvement efforts to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment issues.

  • Repair, replace, and adjust machinery components as needed.

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures and safety concerns.

  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and work orders.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests.

  • Install, test, and commission new equipment and machinery.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance procedures.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

  • Collaborate with operations, production, and management teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.

  • Assist with facility maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and building systems as required.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
