We are seeking a dependable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of hotel facilities and guest areas. The ideal candidate is hands-on, responsive, and takes pride in delivering a quality guest experience through timely repairs and preventative maintenance.

What You'll Do
  • Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times.
  • Assist in maintenance operations for the facility, including but not limited to: refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water softeners and treatment, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency equipment/systems, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, painting, wall covering repairs, etc.
  • Ensure all projects are completed according to specifications and on time
  • Secure and maintain key inventory for all hotel locks
  • Responsible for the telephone system, high-speed internet, movies, and cable
  • Maintain and participate in a preventive maintenance program for guestrooms, public spaces, and all equipment
  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the workspace and storage areas
  • Assists in ensuring the building is prepared for city and state inspections
  • Ability to work well with a diverse group of people

Requirements
What we're looking for
  • Previous hotel, facilities, apartment, or commercial maintenance experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems
  • Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
