Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate!

Pay starting at $22 an hour and can vary depending on experience!

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7:30am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Follow all company mandated safety policies
  • Operate Powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures
  • Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts & accessories.
  • Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites.
  • Involvement in equipment repair & rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic & mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment.
  • Maintaining Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts
  • Follow proper check in & check out producers for rental equipment & accessories.
  • Troubleshoot Fleet for needed repairs & maintenance.
  • Follow housekeeping policies
  • Operation of power tools, including griding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Qualifications:

  • Prior mechanic experience is preferred but not required, training provided.
  • Experience in operating, troubleshooting & repairing of hydraulic equipment.
  • Experience in operating, troubleshooting & repairing of electrical components.
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs.
  • Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools.
  • Experience in operation of power industrial trucks / forklifts.
  • The ability to work in a shop or field environment.
  • Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced challenging customer service environment.
  • The ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.
  • Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus.
