Maintenance Assistant Position Summary

As the Maintenance Assistant at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the community remains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for Life Safety Code compliance.

  • Review the departmentโ€™s policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc.

  • Maintain the facility by working on all applicable tasks.

  • Perform any related tasks assigned by the Maintenance Director, the Administrator or Regional Maintenance Director.

  • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.


Maintenance Assistant Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in a maintenance or plant related position

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Assistant in long-term care is preferred
