Responsibilities for Maintenance Assistant:

  • Complete daily physical rounds throughout the facility to identify and address maintenance needs and safety concerns.

  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs to facility systems and equipment.

  • Review maintenance request logs regularly and complete work orders accurately and promptly.

  • Collaborate with staff to support improvements in resident living spaces and overall facility environment.

  • Assist with furniture moves, equipment repairs, and general maintenance projects as assigned.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently to support resident safety and comfort.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications for Maintenance Assistant:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • One (1) or more years of general maintenance experience required (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades).
