Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team to install and maintain machinery and equipment in industrial establishment.

Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour + $4.00 Shift Premium + 4,000 sign on bonus

Schedule & Shift: Monday - Friday (5 days x 8 hours), 1:30PM - 9:30PM


THE DAY TO DAY...

  • Safe operation of machines and tools

  • Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles

  • Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

  • Dismantles machines

  • Moves machinery and equipment

  • Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails

  • Aligns machines and equipment

  • Assembles machines, and bolds, welds and rivets or otherwise fastens them to structures

  • Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment

  • Complete preventative and total productive maintenance

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

  • Minimum two years industry experience and/or training

  • Strong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills needed

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Able to frequently walk, sit and use hands to handle or feel

  • Able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally

  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
