Maintenance Manager

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI (On-Site)

Shift: 1st Shift

About the Role

Tailored Label Products is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department and keep our facility running at its best. In this role, you'll own everything from equipment reliability and preventative maintenance to facility systems, safety, and building security, ensuring our team has a safe, efficient, and audit-ready environment to do their best work every day.

You'll be the driving force behind our flexographic printing presses and finishing equipment, the champion of our 6S and safety programs, and a coach who helps our maintenance technician grow. If you're a proactive problem-solver who takes real ownership of the buildings and systems you manage, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Directly manage all maintenance activities while coaching and developing the maintenance technician through real-time feedback and performance data
  • Oversee and prioritize breakdowns, projects, and preventative maintenance to keep production running smoothly
  • Design, schedule, and maintain our preventative maintenance program using MaintainX CMMS software
  • Maintain and upgrade major printing equipment (Mark Andy, Nilpeter) and finishing equipment (Arpeco, Siat, Rotoflex), along with press accessories and automatic packaging machines
  • Lead our 6S program to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workspace
  • Co-lead the safety committee, enforce Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures, and champion PPE and facility safety protocols
  • Manage core building infrastructure — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and security systems
  • Act as ISO process owner for Facilities & Maintenance, maintaining compliance documentation and leading the department through audits
  • Oversee facility access and security, including the master key system and alarm monitoring, serving as the point of contact for security issues
  • Coordinate exterior and environmental services, including waste/recycling, grounds keeping, and vending
Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field strongly preferred
  • 5-7+ years of progressive experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance, including 2+ years in a supervisory, lead technician, or project management role
  • Strong familiarity with web-fed printing presses or similar manufacturing equipment
  • Practical knowledge of building infrastructure systems, including HVAC, air compressors, plumbing, electrical, and security
  • Experience administering CMMS software (MaintainX preferred) for PM scheduling and inventory tracking
  • Hands-on experience leading 6S initiatives and driving continuous improvement
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA standards, Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), machine guarding, and facility safety protocols
  • A self-directed, ownership mindset with strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • The ability to build cross-department partnerships and communicate technical issues clearly to operators, leadership, and auditors
