Job Title: Application Programmer (Mainframe, COBOL)
Location: Charleston, WV (On-site)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer (Mainframe, COBOL) to support mission-critical DMV systems in Charleston, WV. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in IBM mainframe technologies and a solid understanding of DMV operational systems and federal compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2)

  • 5+ years of experience with JCL scripting

  • 3+ years working with the West Virginia Drivers enterprise mainframe database

  • 3+ years using CA DB2/IBM Tools (RC/Update, PRF)

  • 3+ years of experience supporting DMV systems

  • 1+ year working with CDL legal and compliance requirements

  • Familiarity with AAMVA systems (CDLIS, PClient, SSOLV, UNI, S2S)
