Job Title

Client is seeking two Mainframe Analysts for code review and reverse engineering of mainframe to identify data source, data analysis and business logic for over 160 view direct reports.

The Expertise You Have
  • 7+ years of experience as a day-to-day Mainframe Analysts working with IBM Db2, Mainframe TSO, Mainframe JCL, and Mainframe data structure.
  • Conduct comprehensive code reviews of mainframe applications to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Perform reverse engineering to identify data sources and understand the flow of data within the systems.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data structures and business logic.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide insights.
  • Document findings and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to mainframe applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mainframe development.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Mainframe Analyst or similar role, with expertise in mainframe technologies (e.g., COBOL, JCL, DB2).
