Job Title: IT -Mainframes | Storage

Work Location: Plano, TX (if necessary, need to go for an in-person interview)

Visa: 

Must Have Skills 

Strong knowledge of IBM zOS Storage Management.

Hands-on experience with Hitachi Disk Storage (HDSVSP, USP, VSP G Series).

Experience administering IBM Virtual Tape System (VTS) or Virtual Tape Library (VTL).

Nice to have skills

Strong understanding of DFSMS, SMS, ACS routines, and Storage Groups.

Experience with DASD management, allocation, migration, and performance tuning.

Detailed Job Description

Administer and support IBM mainframe storage infrastructure in a 24x7 enterprise environment. Manage and maintain DASD storage using Hitachi Disk Storage HDSVSP and related storage subsystems. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Virtual Tape Systems VTSVTL and physical tape environments. Perform storage allocation, provisioning, migration, and reclamation activities. Administer and support DFSMS, SMS policies, ACS routines, and storage groups. Monitor storage utilization, perform capacity plan
