A Mainframe RACF Security Engineer is an IT professional responsible for managing and securing access to mainframe computer systems using IBM’s RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) security software. They design, implement, and maintain security policies, control user permissions, and ensure that sensitive data on mainframe environments is protected from unauthorized access. Their role also involves monitoring security logs, performing audits, and responding to security incidents to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
