Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a BI Analyst/Report Developer. The role involves developing and optimizing SQL scripts, creating dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet data reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzing the adoption, retention, and unenrollment rates for various financial advice offers that the company offers at different tiers (advice channels, business lines, etc.)
• Utilizing project management (PM) tools like JIRA and Confluence to plan, prioritize, and track the work in progress
• Researching, planning, and scoping out business use cases as per the client's requirements and delivering them in the form of dashboards, analyses, recommendations, or other PMO templates
• Setting up weekly touchpoints to discuss client requirements, business goals, technical specifications, and any other significant project milestones and deliverables
• Summarizing and sharing data with the aligned business partners to support their decision-making, strategy planning, and client/marketing outreach efforts
• Strategizing and partnering with various stakeholders involved – end clients, product owners (POs), project managers (PMs), subject matter experts (SMEs), data analysts, and engineers – to develop comprehensive products that suit business and reporting needs
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be robust in Python, SQL, AWS and Tableau.
• MUST have robust communication skills as the contract involves working with stakeholders and directors.
• Developing, optimizing, testing, and troubleshooting SQL scripts (using Presto, Hive, and PySpark query engines) to provide data as per clients' requirements and specifications on time.
• Catering to adhoc data pull requests, that involve structuring, segmenting, and deriving quick insights into company and client data, using platforms like AWS Athena, JupyterHub, and Visual Studio Code.
• Drafting Python scripts to be able to mine and merge together relevant data from various databases (like Mainframe/DB2, Oracle, Salesforce, and Adobe) and storing it in Excel/CSV format on shared drives for enterprise-wide access.
• Employing data handling techniques like data scrubbing, profiling, mapping, and quality testing before using the data for reporting, experimentation, and modeling.
• Assisting with data migration efforts to AWS Cloud, supporting the building of and validating new data products, and documenting any code/methodology used within GitHub; Bitbucket repositories.
• Remediating and automating business reporting to enable real-time/continuous data capture, minimizing manual intervention, ensuring ease of access, and introducing self-serve capabilities.
• Building executive-level and client-facing dashboards on Tableau Desktop/Cloud to capture and track business metrics on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis, and providing production support in case of data/dashboard defects.
• Working with Adobe-tagged webpages and email links to track customers' engagement with the company's marketing channels and summarizing it in the form of open/click rates, impressions, and try-starts.
