Job description

Role: Mainframe Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA, USA (Onsite)
 
Support all aspects of application development; requirement discussion, architecture, design, development, maintenance, testing, debugging, implementation and supporting the applications for all environments as part of the Document Delivery Generation team.
Participate in creating project, application, architecture, functional/technical design, and support documentation.
Mainframe Development for Print Delivery applications and integration with other tools functionalities.
Source control, branching, build and release management.
Application peer code reviews.
Night and weekend support for code releases.
Deploy code across multiple environments from test to production using Endeavor.
Develop standard for best practice and maintain system documentation.
Candidate should be proficient enough to take end to end ownership of assigned tasks.
Experience working on an agile scrum team.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years experience in application development and implementation through SDLC process following Agile practices.
8+ years mainframe experience including COBOL, JCL, CICS (or IMS), DB2/SQL and VSAM, with proficiency using TSO/ISPF/SDSF for batch and online production support.
Mainframe Application development experience.
