Summary
Provides financial, billing, and scheduling record keeping, reporting, analysis, and aid in the development of of short and long-term financial plans. Interacts with staff, management, and other customers in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner consistent with LVHN's Core Values and Competencies.
Job Duties
  • Maintains financial, billing, and statistical databases, decision support systems, and financial or statistical elements of related systems supporting budgeting, financial analysis, and reimbursement.
  • Participates in providing effective service to customers which are comprised of all levels of management of various disciplines.
  • Prepares accurate and complete financial information for timely distribution to internal and external users.
  • Participates in the accurate, timely, and understandable completion of financial analysis, operations reporting, information technology software implementation and support, and other areas as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Management.
  • 5 years experience concentrating in reimbursement, budgeting, financial analysis, or financial reporting and
  • 5 years experience in Finance and/or data analysis in a medical group environment.
  • Knowledge of IDX Physician Billing, IDX Analyzer, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Knowledge of MSAccess, SQL, or Oracle database administration.
  • Knowledge of physician payment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers operated in a Windows environment and ability to use various mainframe and PC-based software applications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • CPA - Certified Public Accountant - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
