Client is looking someone for MF Utilities Developer who is particularly strong with REXX programming
Need USC, PR, Other EAD holders ( no visa dependent candidates )
Job description:
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and innovate on your own, with strong knowledge of Agile Development practices.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral are required as the individual must interface with application developers, support teams, software vendors and management staff.
  • Basic knowledge and/or experience with Mainframe z/OS, JCL, TSO, ISPF.
  • Developer background to aid with service ticket resolution from the user perspective.
  • Ability to work closely with internal user clients to resolve issues.
  • Mid-level knowledge of IBM Utilities i.e. IEBCOPY, IEBGENER, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Vendor software Tool Administrator for: BMC DevX Code Pipeline/ISPW, BMC Topaz Workbench, IBM IDz v17.* , CA-JCLCHECK.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and knowledge.
  • Lead resolution processes for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Develop technical solutions, automation of processes and lead individual or small team initiatives.
  • Communicate across various audiences including technical, managerial and vendors.
  • Participate in 24x7 on call rotation and be required to provide off hours support as necessary.

Preferred Job Skills:
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Experience with: Mainframe z/OS and Horizon platforms, z/OS USS, z/OS Connect, Jenkins, Ansible, IDZ and/or Eclipse based software.
