As a Mailroom Utility/Operator, you'll play an essential role in keeping our mailroom operations running efficiently. Whether you're just getting started or already have machine operating experience, you'll support the production team by helping ensure every job is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. This position is designed to grow with you. Entry-level team members will receive hands-on training and opportunities to advance into a Mailroom Operator role. Candidates with previous machine operating experience may be considered for an Operator position and higher starting pay based on qualifications.

From Setup to Finish: Your Role in the Process
- Follow all established company and departmental policies, procedures, and production standards
- Read and evaluate job tickets to determine precise process to be applied (i.e., attached mail, sort and tie, etc.)
- Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure every finished product meets standards
- Support team members on the line to keep operations running smoothly and ensure production is on track
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and keep equipment moving
- Organize and stage completed work in a clear, efficient, and labeled system
- Take pride in accuracy, attention to detail, and getting the job done right
The Fine Print: What You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and standing activities for the entirety of the shift
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix basic mechanical issues
