JOB DESCRIPTION:
To provide accurate, timely delivery and pick-up of district mail and packages; maintain consistent route schedule and maintain a clean, serviced delivery vehicle.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Deliver and pick-up of District mail and boxes of printed materials.
  2. Maintain a consistent, predetermined schedule of pick-up and delivery.
  3. Process U.S. mail and UPS packages.
  4. Sort U.S. and inter-campus mail.
  5. Fill and load intercampus mail bags and boxes into van for next-day delivery.
  6. Assist in other mail-related duties when needed.
  7. Assist with occasional packaging when necessary.
  8. Maintain the delivery vehicle by cleaning the outside/inside and check gas, oil, and other fluids.
  9. Keep vehicle maintenance log to include mileage, oil changes, etc.
  10. Perform any additional tasks which are necessary to complete a job or that may be assigned to the department.
  11. Maintain confidentiality.
  12. Maintain regular attendance.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record

  • Valid Texas driver's license
