Job Description

Verify the accuracy of prescriptions translated by pharmacy technicians 

Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of a patient's drug therapy through Drug Utilization Review, while meeting department standards for productivity and quality 

Prepare, label and dispense medications (product verification) 

Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations pertaining to the dispensing of controlled substances and the maintenance of required records 

Provide drug information to patients and co-worker


Qualifications

Must have clear and active Pharmacist license in IN

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D

Minimum 3 years of experience practicing as a Pharmacist

Extensive knowledge in drug information, disease state management, and legal requirements of pharmacy practices

Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with healthcare providers

Must be a quick learner in a high production environment

Hours for this Position:
Monday-Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm


Pay range: $52.00- 56.00
