Job description

Overview

This position is a temp to hire role. The selected candidate will perform back up duties to reception area, along with various jobs within a corporate mailroom environment, which can include driving the company van to and from the Kenosha Post Office, internal mail route deliveries, operation of various office equipment including, the postage machine, folder/stuffer machine, Xerox and Ricoh copiers, UPS shipping, sorting external/internal mail, delivering mail, lifting boxes of mail and supplies. Additionally, emptying shred-it bins, delivering paper and toner along with keeping supplies stocked. This role will serve as a fill-in shipping/receiving clerk at the Kenosha General Office facility. 

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 to 4:30, with a 30-minute lunch daily.

The hours subject to change with a day's notice. Ability to work longer than 8 hours a day on a day's notice for backup coverage.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Certifiable to operate power equipment (requiring special testing) 
  • Switchboard experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to be on your feet 4-8 hours each day and walk 3 or more miles per day
  • Ability to learn the operations postage machines, folder/stuffer machine, Ricoh and Xerox copy machines andd other mailroom processes
  • Ability to operate computer software packages
