Job description

The organization operates a high-volume online marketplace focused on providing collectors and investors with a wide selection of items at competitive prices. As the company continues to scale, they are investing heavily in platform performance, infrastructure, and customer experience.

This role combines hands-on Magento development with technical leadership and project management responsibilities. The individual will serve as the internal technical owner of the Magento platform while managing external development teams and vendors. The ideal candidate is comfortable both writing and reviewing code while leading strategic initiatives that improve platform performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on Magento development including configuration updates, enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Support both front-end and back-end improvements including themes, modules, and extensions
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, site errors, and platform functionality
  • Support staging, QA, and production deployment processes
  • Review and validate external vendor code prior to deployment
  • Help optimize site speed, checkout flow, and overall user experience
  • Ensure security best practices and platform updates are maintained
  • Manage and coordinate work with external Magento development partners
  • Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables for development initiatives
  • Translate business goals into technical requirements for development teams
  • Prioritize development initiatives and manage the platform roadmap
  • Oversee testing, release management, and deployment processes
  • Improve internal documentation and development workflows
