Title: Graphics Specialist- Senior - (contingent 034) (4)

Location(s): APG, MD or remote

Senior-level graphics support, driving creative art direction, high-end motion video concept design, and the production of print and multi-media products uniquely tailored to CPE IEW&S needs.

Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide senior-level graphics support, driving creative art direction, high-end motion video concept design, and the production of print and multi-media products uniquely tailored to CPE IEW&S needs.
  • Demonstrate advanced expertise in graphic design software, including Microsoft Office products, Adobe cloud and/or equivalent tools,
  • Ensuring consistent brand application across all media.
  • Lead the creation and execution of compelling visual concepts and creative strategies across print, digital, and motion media, ensuring adherence to brand standards and organizational objectives.
  • Develop and oversee the production of print graphics integrated with high-end motion video and animation projects, ensuring seamless visual storytelling.
  • Independently design and produce strategic and executive-level communication materials supporting senior leaders, incorporating clear and impactful messaging.
  • Direct the development of storyboards, scripts, and creative planning documents to guide multimedia and video production teams.
  • Create and provide illustrations, drawings, and other print art work.
  • Provide photographs, charts, diagrams, maps, slides, overlays, and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating information.
  • Coordinate and lead conference graphic support, including planning, development, and placement of printed materials, signage, exhibits, and other event visuals in collaboration with event planners and stakeholders.
  • Manage technical graphic design deliverables related to industrial design, architecture, drafting, and environmental branding, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Lead budget development and cost management for graphic production and environmental branding initiatives; serve as the primary liaison with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants for graphic-related services.
  • Provide expert review and quality assurance for all graphic outputs, maintaining compliance with Army and CPE IEW&S branding and technical standards.
  • Provide backup support to web design, development, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of federal government public relations/affairs that inform creative and graphic design.
  • Manages the visual style and design of the organization’s brand.
  • Responsible for the overall visual aspects of communications campaigns and products and coordinates the work of other artistic or design staff.

  • Proven experience developing compelling concepts, ensuring brand consistency through hands-on design work, providing creative direction and contributing to strategic decisions to deliver high-quality visual solutions across various media platforms.
  • Position 1 (1 FTE, onsite): Focuses on strategic branding, print graphics across various mediums.
  • Provides advanced technical graphics and design guidance to graphics staff.
  • Responsible for overall management of budget for graphics unit and for cost recovery for work done on projects.
  • Primary interface with other vendors and consultants for services and subcontractors or service providers related to larger graphics environmental efforts.
  • Position 2 (NTE .5 FTE, remote): Focuses on overall art and creative direction. Ability to support development of executive communications products and concepts for environmental branding initiatives.
  • Position 3 (NTE .5 FTE, remote): Focuses on overall art and creative direction in the videography and photography arena, including 3D modeling, animation, etc. Must be proficient in motion graphics and associated tools and technology.
  • Back up support to website development and maintenance.
  • Position 4 (1 FTE, onsite): senior graphics designer who can lead visual design aspects of projects, collaborate with clients and teams to create compelling concepts, ensuring brand consistency.
  • All positions must possess strong knowledge of multiple PC and Macintosh application packages including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and drawing packages. Must be able to design and build presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • All positions must have basic knowledge/ability to produce awards and frame/mat as necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet short suspenses. Demonstrated experience in DoD, Army, Intel Community or related federal sectors desired. Portfolio of work may be requested
  • Adhere to the company’s AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree- Graphics design, computer information systems, Commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, videography/video editing, visual communication, or other fields related to the position.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the field of graphics, videography, and/or other design relevant experience required.
  • Substitution: Associates degree and minimum fifteen (15) years' experience in the field of graphics and design. Additional years’ experience can substitute for field of study.
  • A secret security clearance is required.
