Job description

Description Summary: As a Distribution Center Team Member, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the correct products on time. Our warehouse team is made up of high-energy, self-motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and work together to deliver excellent customer service and support client retention.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Inspect shipping containers and materials for damage or defects
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Count and verify inventory, ensuring products are correctly packaged and labeled
  • Create shipping labels and invoices using warehouse software
  • Follow all safety protocols and report any issues to management
  • Comply with OSHA and company policies at all times
  • Perform general warehouse duties as needed
  • Ensure reliable and punctual attendance

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills & abilities): To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to work overtime, with little-to-no advance notice as required to get the job done.
  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting quotas and performance standards.
  • Self-motivated, team player with the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and general computer skills, preferred.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs along with multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as information regarding bid specifications, product information, etc. Proficiency in English language is required to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Other Qualifications: Willingness to perform any required task within the employee’s capabilities to effectively meet the needs of the company. Ability to get along well with others.
  • Physical Demands: The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the environment is generally not climate controlled which causes the environment to be a wide range of temperatures, depending on the season and weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
