Job description

Cashier (P/T)

The Cashier is responsible for listening and responding appropriately to customer needs, maintaining extensive product knowledge, and exhibiting professionalism at the POS.

Responsibilities

Maintain outstanding customer service standards, possess solid product knowledge, greet and acknowledge every customer, and address any and all concerns by the customer at POS.

Reinforce a rewarding customer experience.

Complete all sales transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining all cash accountabilities at registers.

Assist in various store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed.

Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.

Be flexible to occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.

Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
