Camp Schedule:
  • Camps are one week in duration, running multiple weeks throughout the summer.
  • Instructors will teach the same camp each week at different locations around St. Louis.

Job Summary
  • As a Mad Scientist, you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery method involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the world's leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children.

Responsibilities
  • Lead week-long, full-day science summer camps using a pre-set curriculum.
  • Teach a high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on camp from 8:30 am-3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
  • Most important: Get kids excited about science!

Qualifications
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
  • Background in education or related fields preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage and engage a group of elementary-aged children.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to different camp locations in St. Louis.
